Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a highly energetic and clinically oriented pharmacist to join their remote pharmacy team. The role involves remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification, assuring acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses, performing as staff pharmacist as needed, physician and nursing consultations, clinical medication dosing services, review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes, and coordinating access to medications according to facility policy and procedures in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The position requires working within a licensed pharmacy and not from home. Work schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 7pm. Qualifications include an active TX Pharmacist License, 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred, willingness to gain at least 5 additional licenses in the first 6 months, ability to gain reciprocity to additional states, computer savvy, and excellent communication skills. The role applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks, works on projects of moderate scope and complexity, identifies possible solutions to technical problems, applies judgment within defined parameters, and receives general guidance. Work is reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.
