The University has an opening for Director of the Robert E Wilson Art Gallery located in the Merillat Centre for the Arts. Start date would be August 18, 2025.

The Robert E. Wilson Gallery plays a significant role in connecting the campus community and public to the world of art and design. Gallery exhibitions and visiting artist lectures are critical in providing an avenue for students and diverse audiences to become engaged with Huntington University.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a strong desire to serve others and a commitment to being a faithful steward of university resources
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Possess a high level of problem-solving skills and organizational skills
• Ability to execute multiple projects and tasks concurrently

• Friendly, courteous, helpful demeanor
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of individuals including artists and students
• Highly values good customer service
• Prior work experience in an art museum or gallery is preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Work Schedule: This is a part-time, non-exempt position, working 15-20 hours per week, 9-months per year.
