The Senior Financial Integration Consultant is a member of Workday’s Global Technical Services organization dedicated to financial implementation of our cloud-based software within medium to large sized companies. Our team specializes in GL, AR, AP, Inventory, PSA, and various other aspects of the financial processes. We work alongside our customers to build effective and efficient solutions in Workday! The Senior Financial Integration Consultant works with Workday’s implementation projects, focusing on the most strategic and complex projects in Financials. This role collaborates closely with the client’s project team to ensure successful deployments of Workday’s integration products, tools, and services. Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and managing integration deliverables associated with multiple Workday implementation projects. The role requires deep knowledge of service-oriented architecture design principles, common ERP Financial integration design patterns, phased implementation methodologies, and various integration technologies. The consultant uses a consultative approach and has a history of successful integration deployments. The role also involves supporting teammates with knowledge sharing and project support. Basic qualifications include minimum 5+ years of integration or technical experience in Financials ERP domains, 5+ years experience in architecture, design, and building integration solutions using tools like Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, XSLT, PeopleSoft's PeopleCode, SAP's ABAP, Java, JavaScript, .NET, C++, SQL, or other Financial ERP and Middleware technologies. Minimum 4+ years consulting as an Advisory or Architect on customer implementations. Extensive knowledge managing small teams of Integration Consultants and mentoring on best practices. Other qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Finance or Accounting. The role involves coordinating deliverable schedules, providing guidance on integration strategies, contributing to customer satisfaction, leading project teams through integration discovery and scoping, engaging in sales cycle scoping, sharing knowledge proactively, providing consultative support to junior consultants, and surfacing implementation challenges with suggestions for improvement.
