Stocker

Wage: $17.75

Hours: Currently hiring for evening positions working primarily between 2:00pm and 10:00pm with full and part time availability

General Description of the Position:

Perform shelf stocking functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred
• GED consideration
• Same-field work experience helpful

Essential Functions:

• Capable of performing tasks required to successfully stock grocery merchandise, and achieve required quality.
• Have discretion, good judgment, organizational ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills preferred
• Must be able to rotate by date any product with date coding.
• Able to work cooperatively and independently in a results-oriented environment.
• Repetitive and heavy lifting to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

1. Stock shelves after merchandise is received.
2. Block items on shelves.
3. Perform various cleaning tasks including, but not limited to, dusting, wiping shelving and sweeping.
4. Follow schedules and attendance procedures.
5. Effectively punch in and out for each shift.
6. Attend monthly safety meetings as well as other meetings when applicable.
7. Follow all store guidelines and safety procedures.
