General Function The Target Store Manager leads a team of high-performing team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, meeting all brand goals and commitments. Major Duties and Responsibilities Ensure team members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching store rules. Set expectations for being Guest Ready and ensure team members understand its importance. Manage floor flow and serve as a caretaker for guests and team members. Develop action plans for team member growth and hold them accountable. Provide timely feedback and create a culture of fun, simplicity, and style. Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions. Understand key drivers of business success and identify improvement opportunities. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and store partners to enhance business. Recruit top talent and create effective schedules based on business trends. Handle payroll, personnel paperwork, and manage shrinkage and inventory processes. Ensure store policies, merchandising, and promotions are properly executed. Accurately complete sales transactions and utilize sales strategies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 3+ years in customer service or retail Entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, critical thinker Experience in recruiting, talent development, selling, motivating, and influencing Preferred Qualifications Opticianry License or American Board of Opticians Certification 3+ years management or supervisory experience Additional Information Employee pay depends on various factors including location, experience, and skills.
