MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift | Full-Time (40 Hours)
Salary: $45,000/year

Join our caring team at the Greater Boston Adult Day Health Center , where we provide compassionate, community-based care for older adults and individuals with disabilities. As the Transportation Supervisor , you’ll ensure safe, reliable transportation for our participants — and help keep our operations running smoothly every day.
Oversee the daily operations of the transportation department.
Manage the department budget, including fuel tracking and vendor coordination for maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with all DOT requirements , including licensing, registrations, and inspections.
Maintain the van fleet in safe, clean, and efficient working order.
Supervise and train a team of drivers to provide excellent service and safety.
Develop and manage employee schedules and client pick-up/drop-off routes.
Coordinate special outings, medical appointments, and field trips.
Step in to transport participants when needed.
Recognize and report any signs of abuse or neglect.
Advocate for clients’ rights, dignity, and independence.
Assist with participant care needs as assigned.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and ongoing training opportunities.
High school diploma (or equivalent).
3+ years of driving experience ; supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working with the elderly or disabled population preferred.
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test .
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
